Terraviva is pleased to share that Rising from Ashes is currently being presented through an internal exhibition at California Baptist University’s College of Architecture, Visual Arts & Design.

The exhibition features a curated selection of the top award winners and selected finalists, installed within the architecture school for a limited time. By bringing the awarded proposals into a physical academic setting, the initiative transforms the competition results into an active learning tool for students and faculty.

Rather than remaining a digital publication, the projects are now part of the university’s daily environment — inviting close observation, discussion, and critical reflection. Students are able to study the drawings, spatial strategies, and conceptual approaches in detail, engaging directly with international design responses to a complex real-world challenge.

For CBU, the exhibition reinforces the role of competition culture within architectural education. It creates a bridge between professional practice and academia, exposing the school community to diverse interpretations, design methodologies, and representational techniques from around the world.

Terraviva supported CBU throughout the structuring and international management of the competition process. Seeing the results exhibited within the university marks a meaningful continuation of this collaboration and highlights how competitions can extend beyond publication — becoming catalysts for academic dialogue and inspiration.
